If you and your pet find yourself in an emergency situation during our opening hours, please call ahead to advise us that you are attending the practice so that we can ensure we are ready for your arrival.

We are one of the founders of e-vets, an out of hours and emergency service based at Braid Vets’ veterinary hospital in Edinburgh.
Emergencies outside our opening hours
If you and your pet have an emergency outside of our opening hours, please call e-vets on 0131 6621689.
A vet or vet nurse will answer your call, and will be able to offer advice over the phone or arrange for you and your pet to visit the veterinary hospital.
Their dedicated team members provide round-the-clock support to their inpatients and have access to excellent hospitalisation facilities.

Please note: e-vets is a separate business, and payment for out of hours care will be payable to them at the time of treatments. Some of this fee may be reclaimable if you have pet insurance.
