About Oak Tree Vet Centre

When you take your pet to our practice on Queensferry Road in Edinburgh, you can trust that they will be in the safest of hands. 

In 1996 our founder, Alistair Marks, had the seed of an idea: to create a welcoming vet practice where local clients and patients could easily access the highest standards of compassionate veterinary care.

It’s safe to say that he succeeded!

Our close-knit team, loyal clientbase and patients are like one big family, and we strive to treat every client and pet in a caring and committed manner – how we would like to be treated ourselves.

We like to go that extra mile for our patients and clients, through offering extended opening hours on weekdays and a complete set of services, encompassing vaccinations, diagnostics, dental care, laser therapy and appointments with our in-house physiotherapist.   

We’ve branched out over the years, too, growing our team and facilities to continue to bring you and your pet the very best.

We’re especially proud of our purpose-built hydrotherapy suite, complete with a large swimming pool, an underwater treadmill, accessible steps, safety ramps, non-slip floors, hoists and life jackets.

Protecting our environment is also a big priority for us, which is why we installed our biomass boiler to provide sustainable energy for our site.
